Leon Feldman

Multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer.


Leon Feldman is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, vocalist and producer based in Vancouver, BC Canada.

He graduated from the VCC School of Music where he majored in Jazz/Contemporary Guitar Performance with a minor in vocal studies.

He is a founding member and lead singer of the Vancouver based progressive rock quintet Glass Kites and was a founding member and guitarist for the Montreal based Hip Hop Group Panther & the Supafly (aka Panther Matumona).

In january 2021 Leon released his band Glass Kites’ second album which he co-wrote, recorded and produced. He is currently hard at work on his debut solo album under the moniker ‘Stellar jay’.

In addition to writing & collaborating with Juno & Grammy award winning artist & producer Pomo he also collaborates with a number of other artists including Michael Bublé, Marlie Collins, Jayde ubels, Chill Winston, Melissa endean, Matt Young, Nate Drobner (AKA Astrological), Potatohead People and many others.

He is also the lead singer for the 8-piece AOR / Yacht-Rock tribute band ‘West Coast Dream Team’ which he co-founded with his musical partner Nate Drobner.

In addition to these projects Leon has also worked as a freelance producer/audio engineer, arranger, producer, composer, live musician and as a music teacher for the past 14 years - teaching lessons in guitar, voice, piano, theory and production as a private instructor and working for the JCC School of Music, Song of stars Entertainment, and at the Open Door Music School in Vancouver, BC.
